The practitioner Maryan is unprofessional and uncaring "well then you should have scheduled something a while ago". Today I had an appointment to get paperwork done. Paperwork that I was told that they could fill out. During this appointment she informed me that it is not something that she is comfortable filling out which I completely understand although it was upsetting and I was very disappointed. I explained to her the situation that I was in and the time constraints as there was a due date for this. As I'm in tears letting her know that I don't know what my next move is her response was "well then you should have scheduled something a while ago." Respectfully ma'am I scheduled an appointment the moment I got this paperwork. I also spoke to 3 different Sea Mar employees who told me you could do it. I have never in my life felt so overlooked by the medical system. And beyond that I have a woman but I thought might understand the situation who then made me feel less than and mocked me while I was crying is absolutely unacceptable. I will be removing myself from being seen from her and I suggest anyone who wants to feel cared about does the same. The only reason I gave two stars i

My brother was a patient of this service for several years. He was not a veteran, but was severely disabled due to agent orange exposure. He passed away ten days ago. His experience with Sea Mar was very poor. It took hours to reach a human when he needed to contact them. When someone passes in Thurston County, their primary care provider, in this case Dr. Joly Wu, is responsible for signing the death certificate. Despite numerous calls from myself and the funeral home, I have heard nothing from Dr. Wu. I finally called the county coroner, who said the doctor needed to sign the death certificate, and they agreed to follow up with Sea Mar. If you have any alternative, do not use Sea Mar for your provider. In my brother's experience, they maximize wait times and minimize face-to-face interaction.

The front desk staff are always so kind and helpful. They listen to me. The stront dest supervisor is beyone professional and compassionate. The medical staff also do listen to me even though they are short on time. Dr Wu seems genuinely concerned about my healthcare and it helps me feel in contron of my healthcare when inhave a dr like Dr. Wu on my team. Sometimes I have to wait past my appointment time but thats normal as they do have many patients scheduled. I appreciate the service I receive here.

I have gotten such wonderful care from Dr Joly Wu at the Sea Mar clinic that in the 30 years I have been getting care from doctors I have only had one other doctor even come close to that level of care that she has provided me along with her nursing assistant Lizette. And I have seen a lot of other doctors in those 30 years and unfortunately had many health issues, but the level of care Dr Joly Wu has given me and the level of expertise she has and her attention to details is second to none. She is such an asset to that clinic and she has been one of the only doctors there until recently running over half of that clinic all by herself and that is amazing! She is one of the biggest reasons why I am not only still alive but I am still fighting for my health care and fighting for my health and have been able to and gotten so much help and assistance from her even when I had trouble believing in myself she still believed in me and believed in my recovery. Dr Joly Wu is not only an exceptionally talented physician but she has such a kind and wonderful soul. Everyone in this office is a delight except for Dr. Luis A. Herrera. He will be consistently dismissive about how concerning your health problems are and has proved that he doesnt care to do the bare minimum. It states on charts that he discussed things with you that he did not. He does not listen or consider your thoughts. He gave my husband a referral to an endocrinologist who only treats diabetes when he is a cancer patient. He also claimed my husband was "refusing" a local referral when he was simply advocating for himself that 1. this specific endo would not see him and 2. the local endos that could see him are not accepting new patients. Dangerous language implying my husband was being combatative is not appreciated and we will never see Dr. Herrera again. He also previously told my husband his iron levels were not "bad enough" and was reluctant to refer him to a specialist who immediately found his levels to be concerning. At this point my husband feels like he has had to beg for medical care and I'm furious that a medical professional could be so jaded and careless towards a patient that has moved and is trying to establish new care.
